METYX multiaxial fabrics are non-crimp, multi-axis and multi-layered reinforcements. Layer count, orientation, weight and fiber content of the layers vary based on product line and application. The layers are stitched via polyester yarn.
METYX fabrics can be produced using multiple axis (0°, 90°, +45°, -45°), as well as a range of orientations from +20° through to +90° and -20° to -90° combined with chopped mat and multiple layers of veil and/or non-woven materials.
A weight range of 100g/m2-3000 g/m2 can be achieved.
Various drapeabilities are available according to the stitch type & length.

UVIS materials provide to the products the following:
high leak-proofing during the long equipment exploitation period.
resistance to concentrated acid, alkalis, organic solvents, oil and oil products (medium pH - 0-14) effects;
in the oxygen-free medium up to 3000oC;
in the oxygen medium up to 450oC;
to high pressure (up to 300 bars);
to electric, magnetic, nuclear and space irradiation;
minimal fraction stress at contacts with the moving parts (circulating speed is up to 30 m/sec)
shape stability at exploitation (stiffness)
non toxicity (dry stuffing is used at contacts with table water, food products and highly pure products).

Modification.

APPLICATION
The material is used in the rotating parts and for static packing in stop valves in chemical and food industries and in public water supply.
RESUME
Tests show that packing glad stuffing wear and chemical resistance is 2-3 times higher than of the traditional asbestos goods. Application of this stuffing allows to improve reliability due to decrease of air tight and heat load leakage in the friction part.

Carbon threads UVIS®
Carbon threads UVIS are produced from the rayon threads by special technology.
UVIS fiber is produced as the thread for textile processing (UVIS-N) with the twist of 100-120 Tm twist and linear density of 100, 165, 205 tex and the sewing thread (UVIS-NSH) with 140-220 Tm and linear density of 100, 215 tex.
UVIS threads have a number of valuable properties such as:
resistance in oxygen-free medium up to 3000°C
resistance to electromagnetic, nuclear and cosmic irradiation
carbon content up to 99.9%
breaking strength of a monofilament 1.2-1.5Gpa
elongation at rupture up to 2.5%
high chemical resistance to acids, alkalis and solvents action at room and elevated temperatures
- possibility to process at weaving equipment.
The unique UVIS thread properties provide its wide application:
in the production of special purpose articles as the multilayer reinforcing structures
in production of carbon and hybrid fabrics, tapes, nets, knitted fabrics and other material in combination with different chemical threads
in production of electric wires and packing gland stuffing
as the reinforcing filling agent for thermosetting, thermoplastic, carbon-carbon and carbon-ceramic composite materials
in traumatology and surgery for tendons and ligaments plastics
METYX multiaxial kumaşların üretiminde, E-Cam, S-Cam gibi farklı cam elyafının yanısıra karbon, aramid, yüksek dayanımlı polyester, polyamid, polipropilen, basalt, spectra, dyneema gibi teknik elyaftan veya bunların karışımından hibrit yapılar elde etmek (ör: cam-aramid) mümkündür.
Metyx multiaxial kumaşların maksimum eni 256 cm, topların standart eni 127 cm olup isteğe bağlı olarak değişik enlerde de üretilebilmektedir.
Ürün grubunda ana ürün olan cam elyaf multiaxial kumaşlar; polyester, epoksi, fenolik, vinilester, gibi termoset reçineler ve ayrıca polipropilen, PVC gibi termoplastik reçineler ile uyumludur.
Multiaxial kumaşlar, açık kalıplama, RTM, vakum infüzyon, pultruzyon gibi çeşitli kompozit üretim yöntemlerine uygundur.
The range of METYX fabrics include all the basic reinforcements utilizing glass (e.g. E-glass, S-glass), aramid and carbon fibres. In addition to these, upon customer’s request, the range can be enlarged to include multiaxial fabrics produced from other technical fibres such as high tenacity polyester, polyamide, polypropylene, basalt fiber and also hybrid fabrics (e.g. glass-aramide) containing a mix of the above fibers.
The basic product line, multiaxial glass fabrics, are compatible with thermoset resins such as polyester, epoxy, phenolic, vinylester resins and also width thermoplastic resins such as polypropylene and PVC.
METYX fabrics, having a maximum widt of 256 cm (101 inch), has a standard roll width of 127 cm (50 inch) and can also be supplied to the customer in the desired width.

CARBON FIBER MATERIALS ON PAN-based
High-tensile (HT) and high modulus (HM) carbon materials on the basis of polyacrylonitrile (PAN) fibers are used as reinforcing fillers of structural composite materials (carbon fiber reinforced plastics, CFRP)
The main advantages of PAN-based carbon fibrous materials are as follows: high tensile strength;
high compressive strength;
high hardness;
low density;
the specific characteristics (strength and hardness - to - density ratio) are greater by several fold as compared to all known metal analogues (steel, titanium, aluminum, alloys) by 5-8 times.
The materials are produced in the form of continuous threads with linear density from 120 tex to 30 ktex; unidirectional and combined tapes; fabrics of different textile structure.

Wide experience gained in the application of composite materials on the basis of HT and HM carbon fibers has demonstrated their efficiency first of all in the aircraft industry. Use of these composites in some aircraft structures (undercarriage, wings, air intakes, floor panels etc) allows to increase the item's hardness by 1,5-2,0 times and simultaneously reduce their weight by 15-40% as compared with the metal analogue. Furthermore, according to analysis, the LNG storage and transportation tanks made of carbon composites can endure the pressures up to 200 ATM, when the tank's weight is reduced by 30-40%.
